Minam River upstream to the confluence with Little Minam

April 26, 2018

On Thursday, April 26, 2018, a group of four volunteers, two mounted on pack animals and two walking, made their way up the Minam River to perform trail maintenance. A fifth volunteer riding a mule joined the group later. Over three days, the group cleared approximately 9.5 miles of trail from the Eagle Cap Wilderness boundary to just upstream of the confluence of the Little Minam River with the main Minam River. On the fourth day, the group broke camp and departed down river to the trailhead.
