National Trails Day was on June 5 this year; the sun was out and the saws were singing! A seven person crew enjoyed the day out on the Chief Joseph Trail working on logout, brushing and tread. Continuing the good work of the May 22 work party, they removed 19 logs from four miles of trail up to 6,400' elevation. They also brushed three miles of trail that was heavily overgrown.
