On a wildflower filled Sunday five volunteers tackled tread and blackberry vines on the historically significant Nee-Me-Poo Trail #1727 from Dug Bar Road down to the Snake River at Dug Bar. They addressed badly eroded tread with grub hoes, pulaskis and shovels along the trail, as well as a 40' section of blackberry vines that crew lead, Chris, said "angrily shoved the trail four-feet uphill, making it difficult for all but the most acrobatic hikers to pass." Between work sites the day was peppered with scenic views, conversations on food and life, shared happiness in good work done, and even some shared candy before parting ways.
