PROJECT DETAILS: This trip will be primarily to remove trees that have fallen across the trail. We will also work to clear some brush as we go. The trip will start at the Moss Springs trailhead  We will hike about 8 miles to a camp at Red's Horse Ranch on Day 1.  Days 2-3 will be spent cutting logs on the Bear-Minam Trail (about 1.5 miles from camp) up toward Standley Guard Station, and Day 4 will be a back to the trailhead.  Mules will be available to carry our camp gear and tools to Red's on Day 1 and to the work area on Days 2-3, but the mules will not be coming back to the trailhead until October 4th so we can either carry our gear back with us or make arrangements to meet the mules later and get our gear.  This trail is in part of the Sturgill Fire from 2022 and has many trees that have fallen across it.
