TRAIL INFORMATION: This trail is found at the Oregon Department of Wildlife Lostine Wildlife Area. Trail is following the old Fire Road above the flats that switchbacks over to the Silver Creek drainage.
PROJECT DETAILS: This trip is primarily to clear brush from the trail, but we will also clear any new trees that have fallen. It will start from Wildlife Area parking lot on the Lostine River Road, and include a group of youth from the Wallowa Resources HAWK Program.
We’ll meet in the parking lot at 9:30am.
* Bring lunch and plenty of water, especially if it’s a hot day.
* Bring gloves and a hat.
* Tools will be provided. We’ll mostly be using lopers and hand saws.
* If you have a favorite hand tool, feel free to bring it along.
