PROJECT DETAILS: Brushing and tread clearing.  Start from Dug Bar and raft to Heller Bar with camps near Imnaha River mouth, Salmon Bar, and Cache Creek.

PROJECT DETAILS: We will start from Copper Creek TH near Homestead, Oregon.   This trip is comprised of a travel day on days 1 and day 6.   We will work on the second and fourth day, with a rest day in the middle.  Enjoy a beautiful trip above Hell's Canyon on the Southern side  of the Wallowas.

We will be working from a car camp at the PO Saddle trailhead and doing day trips down the 3 trails that lead to the bench halfway down into Hells Canyon.  Volunteers can join us for just a day or two of their choosing or come for the whole 5 days.    There will be travel days on the first and last day of the trip, with a rest day in between.

PROJECT DETAILS: Meet at 8:30am, at the parking lot for the Lostine Wildlife Area, off Lostine River RD.  Brush out, manual weed removal, and tread maintenance for 2.25 miles to the USFS boundary. 

PROJECT DETAILS: Logout, brushing.  Work from camp at Twin Lakes TH.  Participation is flexible, you can participate in any one or more of these days.  High School Youth  from Wallowa Resources' Hawk Program  and Youth Corp from Halfway will be working on this trip as well.    There will be travel days on the first and last day of the trip, with a rest day in between.

PROJECT DETAILS: Logout, brushing,some treadwork.  Start from Buck Creek TH.  Camp at confluence of Elk Creek & Big Minam River.  Working upstream to Minam Lake and downstream to Minam Meadows.

PROJECT DETAILS: Primarily brushing on lower half of trail.  Start at East Eagle TH; Optional car camping at East Eagle TH.  This trail starts from the Southern end of the Wallowa mountains.  

PROJECT DETAILS: Logout and brushing.  Scouting trip from Little Kettle Creek TH.

PROJECT DETAILS: Logout, brushing, some treadwork.  Start from Moss Springs TH. There will be travel days on the first and last day of the trip, with a rest day in between.

PROJECT DETAILS: This a backpacking trip, bring any overnight sleeping and food supplies.   Meet at E. Eagle Creek Bridge nr. Eagleton, leaving a parked vehicle for later shuttle back to trailhead; hike with packs from E. Eagle Creek TH up Little Kettle Creek Trail to mile 2.66 (fir tree at switchback, +1,440’ elevation); remove brush .1 mile up and .2 mile down trail; continue hike to fir grove (approx. .5 mile distance) to remove 24” log and make camp near stream.

Sunday 8/27: Hike to Crater Lake (3.+/-, +1,200’ elevation), removing 17+ logs and triage brushing; make camp.

Monday 8/28: Hike Cliff River Trail to Sullivan Creek Trail Junction (3. miles,+ 400’ elevation); descend (6.5 miles, -3,720’ elevation) to trail terminus and exit to E. Eagle Creek Bridge, recon trail alignment and conditions, remove logs and brush as needed, eta 4:30p at parked vehicle and 4 mile shuttle to E. Eagle Creek Trailhead. 

PROJECT DETAILS:  Horse supported but you will need to backpack out.  Logout and sign installation.  Meet at 10 am North Catherine Creek Trailhead.  First two days car camping at trailhead with day-hikes installing signage.  

PROJECT DETAILS: This a backpacking trip, bring any overnight sleeping and food supplies.  Meet late Friday This trip can be dry; bring water.  Bearwallow campground.  Camp based at Standley guard station.

PROJECT DETAILS: Meet at 8:30am, at the parking lot for the Lostine Wildlife Area, off Lostine River RD.  Work either day or both.  Primarily loper and handsaw work to continue our previous work clearing brush and moving tread away from steep dropoffs on the trail up the old Fire Road over to the Silver Creek drainage. 

PROJECT DETAILS: Repair a boggy spot at the creek crossing at the Tenderfoot Trailhead.  This has been a sloppy crossing for many years, but our crew is planning to work with the USFS to build it up and install culverts.
