Trails: Cougar Ridge Trail #1668 & Division Camp Trail #1649

Itinerary: This stock-supported trip will leave from The Minam Hayshed, located at the confluence of the Wallowa and Minam Rivers along HWY 82 at 8:00 am. We will ride and hike, clearing trees as we go, and camp out on the trail. Work will take place on Cougar ridge, then down the Division camp trail. Stock support can carry personal gear for hikers.

Bring your own food and water. Trip is eligible for camping per diem.

Gear Packing List:  Late Winter- Spring conditions with periods of intense sun exposure.

Crew Leader: Lantz Hughes

Difficulty Rating: Strenuous

You should have experience outdoors and be in good hiking condition with broken-in and tested gear. This is a remote backcountry project, so injuries such as sprains and blisters or even extreme fatigue from not being properly conditioned can quickly become a big safety issue.

Hike: 3/5 Moderate-Strenuous

Project Work: 3/5 Moderate-Strenuous: -- Mostly logout with some brushing.
