Itinerary:  This trip will start at the P.O Saddle Trailhead. We will be working to clear logs and cut back brush on a number of trails within the 2022 Double Creek Fire perimeter, primarily the Western Rim Trail and the upper sections of Morgan Ridge and Long Ridge. We plan to backpack in to Benjamin Spring or Mark’s Cabin Spring and camp for up to 3 nights, working on the various sections as needed.

Bring your own food and the ability to filter water.

Gear Packing List:  Fall Conditions Cool to chilly conditions with variable weather. Long Sleeves and pants, work/hiking boots. Car camping/backpacking gear if intending to stay multiple days

Difficulty Rating: Moderate-Strenuous

You should have experience outdoors and be in good hiking condition with broken-in and tested gear. This is a remote backcountry project, so sprains, blisters, or fatigue can quickly become a safety issue.

Hike: 3/5 Moderate: Day hiking or backpacking within 5-10 miles from a TH, potentially with heavy tools and equipment. Some steep terrain with poor tread
