Trails: Middle Minam Trail #1673

Itinerary:  (THIS PROJECT IS FULL) Join us for a stock-supported trip that will begin at Moss Springs Trailhead. From there, we will hike 8 miles down to Red's Historic Horse Ranch, which will serve as our base for brushing and clearing logs along the Middle Minam River Trail #1673.

We will be working on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, with a pack-out scheduled for the 24th. Volunteers have the option to have their gear either packed in or flown in by plane.

* Breakfast, lunch, and dinners will be provided, with volunteers needing to bring the ability to filter their water.

Gear Packing List:  Early summer-hot conditions with periods of intense sun exposure and variable weather.

Difficulty Rating: Moderate-Strenuous

You should have experience outdoors and be in good hiking condition with broken-in and tested gear. This is a remote backcountry project, so injuries such as sprains and blisters or even extreme fatigue from not being properly conditioned can quickly become a big safety issue.
