Thomason Meadows Guard Station Maintenance Project

Where: Thomason Meadows Guard Station, located on the Wellamotkin Rd (FS 4600) between the Zumwalt Prairie and Buckhorn lookout, is a historical Forest Service Guard Station built in the first half of the 20th century.

Itinerary: This is a one-day facilities maintenance project leaving from the Joseph Public parking lot, located near Winding Waters Rafting Company. Carpooling available. Volunteers will work cleaning the cabin, performing yard work for fire safety, removing fallen a tree, and organizing the tool shed.

Bring your own lunch and water.

Gear Packing List:  Daypack with gear equipped to encounter late Spring-Summer conditions.
