Itinerary: This trip will leave from Bear Wallow TH following the Standley Ridge Trail #1677 to Standley Cabin. We will then work down Washboard Trail #1680, clearing trees and repairing tread as we go. We will work toward Bear Lake, taking a shortcut over to Hobo Lake, where we will follow the Chimney-Wood Lake Trail #1659 clearing toward Wood Lake, then out toward Chimney Lake and the Bowman Trailhead, located up the Lostine River Road.
Bring your own food and water. Trip is eligible for camping per diem.
Gear Packing List: summer-hot conditions with periods of intense sun exposure and variable weather.

Difficulty Rating: Strenuous
You should have experience outdoors and be in good hiking condition with broken-in and tested gear. This is a remote backcountry project, so injuries such as sprains and blisters or even extreme fatigue from not being properly conditioned can quickly become a big safety issue.
Hike: 4/5 Strenuous: This is exposed and sometimes steep and rocky terrain.
Project Work: 3/5 Moderate-Strenuous: -- Mostly logout with some brushing and tread repair.
Possible Hazards: Intense sun exposure, creek crossings, scree & talus.
